AI memories and partial payments
Briefcase now learns your internal conventions automatically, and you can reconcile invoices that aren’t paid in one go.
AI memories
Briefcase now learns your internal conventions automatically, cutting down manual edits.
It picks up patterns across fields like due dates and document references. For example: "if the uploader is John Doe, append 'JD' to the document reference."
What do you need to do? Nothing. Briefcase learns from your past and future edits, proposes new memories daily, and keeps only the ones that match how you actually work.
As it learns, accuracy across nuanced fields goes up and your autopublish rate improves as Briefcase gets more confident in its extracted fields.

Partial payment support in Briefcase Ledger
Reconcile part of an invoice
Invoices aren’t always paid in one go. You can now reconcile an invoice against one or more bank transactions that don’t cover the full amount - from either the invoice or the bank feed. The reconciliation preview shows what’s covered and what’s left before you confirm.

Track what’s still outstanding
Partially paid documents get a Partially paid status, with every reconciled payment and the outstanding amount shown on the document. Reconcile the rest when it arrives and the status flips to paid. Works across purchase invoices, sales invoices raised in Briefcase, and landlord statements, with aged reports staying accurate throughout.
