Our mission ## Automate the world's financial back-office The last real innovation in accounting was the shift from desktop to cloud - over a decade ago. Since then, workflows have remained overwhelmingly manual, tedious and time-consuming. At Briefcase, we are radically automating these workflows end-to-end using AI agents, so that humans are pulled in only as an exception, not as a default. Every team member provides customer support creating short feedback loops between what we ship and what customers need. ### Everyone codes Everyone in the company ships code, including commercial team members. Modern AI editors have democratised shipping. This builds deeper product comprehension across the team. ### Build for verification, not review We pair probabilistic AI agents with deterministic formal verification. We build for verifiable outcomes - if the output correctness can be measured, it can be improved. ### Own our tooling We built our own LLM observability platform because nothing on the market was good enough. Our RevOps and ProductOps are built on top of our internal tooling. As such, we are not currently considering remote roles. We work in the office 4-5 days a week, with the option to work from home on Wednesdays if it helps you focus and be more productive. Being in the office reduces barriers to communication and minimises the need for meetings, enabling us to ship faster and get more done. No, we are currently only offering full-time positions to ensure full commitment and aligned incentives. We're based in London, UK.
